I am originally from Texas, however I have lived in Lexington since 2017 so now I feel able to call myself a Kentuckian, although I could never abadon my Texan roots.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time, outside of CY?

Outside of CY, you can find me volunteering with Kentucky Health Justice Network, creating ceramics on the pottery wheel, or reading, trying to put a dent in my to-read book pile.

What do you enjoy most about working at CY?

I love the energy you feel as soon as you walk in! It pumps you up and you gets you ready to go before you even start class.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever heard?

“I don’t shine if you don’t shine.” Shine Theory is an investment, over the long term, in helping someone be their best self—and relying on their help in return.
