Bio
Crestwood, KY – Just North of Louisville, KY. I grew up here and went to school a few minutes from my house until I moved to Lexington in 2010 for College at the University of Kentucky, and I have been here ever since.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time, outside of CY?
I love to be outside! Hiking in Red River Gorge is an easy go-to, but I love to rock climb (not that I have done much outdoors yet, but LEF Climbing gym is awesome here in town), cycle, and run. And I really enjoy some yard work and gardening! I also try to stay involved with our community through volunteer events and fundraisers.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever heard?
When you’re green, you grow – When you’re ripe, you rot. It’s always important to try new things and to continue to grow and push ourselves to be better than we were yesterday. I think this quote speaks to that fact; If we get too comfortable or “ripe” then we miss out on what opportunities we have built, and we are unable to see new opportunities in our future. I think there is a good reason that CycleYOU’s color is GREEN!
What is something no one would guess about you?
I own 3 (yes, 3!) Chinchillas! We have 2 girls, Lola and Lux, and 1 boy, Louie (the Third). They are adorable little fluff balls of joy, ha-ha!
If you could only take one class at CY, what would it be?
Barbell Burn! It’s such a great workout, and always pushes my limits. I feel stronger when I leave class, and stronger every week I attend (or Motivate!). It’s a great mix of exercises and a full body workout!
